Jason Sullivan

Jason feels that he’s doing nothing with his life. He’s fresh out of high school and works at the local (hectic) Starbucks. Only a couple colleges have accepted him, and he has no scholarships. He recently moved across the street from Antoinette, with his mom, dad, older sister, his nephew, and one out of his three brothers. Jason hates coming from a big family, but loves that they all divide up the rent, so he doesn’t have to pay that much because there is so many of them. His family loves to party and fool around, Jason does too but not like his brothers and sister. Jason thinks it’s nice to have a familiar face live across the street from him. Antoinette and her mother go to Starbucks practically everyday, they always have nice conversations with Jason. He doesn’t know that Antoinette has a major crush on him.

Antoinette "Toni" Roberts

Antoinette “Toni” Roberts: This year has been different for Toni. Now that she’s 14 everything is so much different from when she was 11 or 12. In sixth and seventh grade the boys paid little attention to Toni. They all teased her and flirted lightly but she didn’t have a boyfriend all sixth or seventh grade. Eighth grade she had tons of attention from everyone. Especially the boys. Even though she hung out with the unpopular people she loves her friends. She’s changed so much since the beginning of middle school. Everything about her has changed-for the better. Toni thinks it’s just her growing up, but no one else has been growing up like her. Now that middle school is over she hopes her freshmen year won’t hurt her to badly. Luckily her boyfriend, Riley, is there to support her. At least that what she thinks.
